(아내의 유혹을 너무 봐서 자연스런 사고의 전환.)
그런데 내가 업무능력이 딸리는 건지,
아니면 몸이 온힘을 다해 거부를 하는 건지,
일의 양은 시간이 지나도 줄지 않는다.
이러는 와중에 아래와 같은 프로그램에서 뭔가 썰을 풀어야 한다.

An Offering: Public Resource

An Offering: Public Resource is a self-organized librarywhere the “self” is over 100 people who joined in an effort to bringtogether texts on contemporary art and related subjects to serve as acatalyst for critical discourse and creative exchange. The collectionconsists of hundreds of donated contributions from colleagues,institutions, artists, and friends from around the world. In addition,independent record labels have donated records to be included in alistening station within the project. The project is an effort to shareresources and information as an act of solidarity with, curiosityabout, and commitment to the outstanding arts community in Seoul. Eachparticipating individual or institution has offered their time andmaterials with no compensation. Together we share ourselves and ourwork to participate in contemporary art discourse in Korea. Public Resourcewill be installed in Artsonje Center’s lobby in a space designed byChoi Jeong-Hwa from March through December 2009. From March 10-14,artists, curators, and thinkers present on recent projects,preoccupations, and ideas. For the remainder of the project, we inviteother individuals and groups to use the resource for research andexchange. At the project’s close, the entirety of the resource will bedonated permanently to a library or arts organization in Seoul who canmaintain access to the public. An Offering: Public Resource isconceived by Eungie Joo. The installation at Artsonje Center isrealized in cooperation with SAMUSO and Choi Jeong-Hwa studio.
